Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis usually affects elderly people. It affects more and more people it becomes a serious endemic such as cardiovascular diseases and cancer. That is why the screening is so important from the age of 50. At our clinic we can make this test in 15 minutes.

How can you prevent and treat osteoporosis?

The early diagnose is important in the prevention of degradation of the bones. Healthy lifestyle and regular exercises are helpful too.
The bone tissue is developing continuously from childhood to the age of 25. Then a dynamic balance is set, as much tissue degrades as much develops.
From the age of 40 the weakening and degradation of the bones starts in every person, which can lead to osteoporosis. Sedentary lifestyle and unhealthy nutrition makes you more predisposal to this disease.

Its well-known complication is femoral neck fracture which leads to worse quality of life and other complications.
In case of women the predisposing factor is the age and menopause. In this time the amount of female sex hormones (oestrogen, progesterone) changes.

At first it is unnoticeable, so it is so important to consume food rich in calcium and take exercises or do sport regularly. You should go to screening in time and regularly repeat the test.
